Best place for English roast dinner

Post by levent »

Hello,

I was wondering what the best place would be for an English roast lunch or dinner in the area. In a previous post Dick's Office was mentioned as well as a place in Cha-Am. Any more details about these or other restaurants? (name/location/quality of food)

Thanks.

levent,

I can vouch for the quality of the food at Dicks Office, albeit it can be a bit slow coming on occassions.

However, there has been much written about Roast Dinner on this forum. Simply move to the top of the page and select Search. Then enter Roast Dinner in to the Keywords field and let the computer do the work for you.

All to their own taste here but all the sponsor sites on HHAD, a couple of which have already been mentioned are good.

Swear by Crawfords in HH

Real plateful and cooked how you like it

Beef -rare, medium or well done
Pork - excellent
Chicken - excellent
No lamb yet but try their lamb shank

Start out with Micks patty with a cranburry sauce on crispy toast

Plenty of spuds - roast and mashed
Plenty of good crispy veg

Good gravy to wash it all down with

Go for it!!!!!!

Good beer to accompany it all too

Thanks guys,

We had breakfast at Crawfords HH a few times and it was excellent, so we'll go there for roast as well. Do they have it daily, both lunch and dinner? Or just on Sundays?
