Suckee, suckee your septic tank

Septic tank in Hua Hin non-rhyming slang is a depository of nightsoil. The end of the line for many a good chow.
Occasionally ST's need to be emptied. To do the dirty one calls the yellow sucking-truck, the yellow sucking-truck of Mr. Puee.

Here's the number: 086 - 99 47 214 or 032 - 513 914

And what does he charge? Up here in pattaya, the city council trucks charge 300 per tank. The pirates who prowl the neighborhoods charge double that. Pete

His charges vary according to size of you hoard of output. He charged me 200 baht for a truckload of it.
Three years ago it was 180 baht. Quick and clean service, no brown slurry anywhere.

That is a good deal, very honest. Everyone over here charges by the tank, not the quanitity removed. Pete

A unfunny story to add. A few months ago coming back from Rayong and thought I would try a little used shortcut on back roads east of Pattaya. Got badly lost but happened upon one of our lakes that supplies water to the area. In the swamp land that surrounds it sure enough, there were three of the tank pumping pirate trucks unloading their days worth of waste, about 10 meters from the edge of the lake.

So, what they pump comes back to you in your tap water! E-coli here we come! :guns: Pete

Seems to depend on the type of STD you have  (Septic Tank Diameter)

Just got charged 600 Baht for a 2000 litre tank.
Bit over the top I think but did a good job.

Reminds me of a mate who used to live in rural Japan and the house had a ST (very rare these days). So he calls the truck and the guys collects the deposits and he knocks on the door and puts his hand out to get paid.

Well my mate was short of cash and the guy didn't take credit card. :P

The guy was gonna pump it all back in if he didn't find the cash so he had to ride his bike 4 kms to granny's joint and get a loan.

Don't mess with the ST man.

We have two STs at the house, and Mrs.T tells me we only pay THB300 for clearing out both of them when the poowagon comes around.

All that talk about the S--t wagons, reminds me of a holiday camp that my parents used to take us on holidays in Jaywick.
Did not matter how hot is was, you could never go to sleep with the windows open. If you did you got the full waft of the tank being emptied at 6.00am in the morning. Not the best way to start the day.
