For those like me with a map fetish, PointAsia has some decent satellite images of Hua Hin and surroundings. It's a new site and is still in beta, but seems to work well enough. You will be able to see your house clearly, and count the umbrellas on the beach.
But be advised it's in Thai, and requires DirectX, a 20+mb download if you don't already have it.
Apologies if it has been mentioned before -- I conducted some searches and couldn't find any references.
