Avast

Post by LolaBeltran »

I have had AVAST for the last year and it seems to be working OK.

I have the VPN which is currently off as when it was on I believe it messed up my credit card and bank log-ins. Made a real mess of things.
Can this happen? Should I keep it off for banking?

I also have AVAST Cleanup Premium and AVAST premium Security.
The security seems to work great. No issues with hacking, spam or malware.

The problem with the cleanup is that they give me the list of stuff to ditch and in many cases I havent a clue what to ditch and what to keep. And my PC still takes 30 min to load.

Worst of all is the total lack of customer service. Spent an hour trying to make contact and I might as well be trying to reach Mars. Anyone use AVAST and has a customer service email contact?

Thanks for comments and suggestions

Yes, I am using Avast, and only subscribed to the security online through the mobile phone. The only reason I'm using it is for the anti-theft function, which was formerly with another (Nokia) company that was bought over by Avast. It is a good platform, but their helpdedk does take a while to get back to you.
Have not found a need to get a VPN. Yet.
