Another law that will be largely ignored, but will always just lurk in the background should somebody fancy a bit of free cash.

The likes of YouTube largely ignore Thailand's requests before the law, so why will they obey now? Imagine the cost of policing such a law by the likes of YouTube. They already do it up to a point, but their current policing is a farce. I have several published videos where YouTube refuse to play the music because it infringes on their copyright rules. The videos in question don't even have music :?. To do it properly, they would have to replace robots with people. Or employ a new generation of robots. Even then, they only tell you - they don't take any proper action.
