I'm guessing that if they are all that wealthy they won't need the services of public transport

AFAIK the bus service never got off the ground.

I'm sure these wealthy people would rather use Grab or Bolt and get a door to door service, which are not expensive i.e. no need to walk/wait in the Thai sunshine.

I think that people are usually rich or well off, because they do not spend unnecessarly if cheaper alternatives are available

There is still the green and yellow truck type bus from Pulau U to Hua Hin that goes from Hin Lek Fai to town down the 3218.
