Opening Thai bank account - Tourist Visa

They say Kasikorn branches in Sukhumvit at Bangkok tourist area are very farang friendly and do not hassle as much as the branches in Hua HIn. If one has any kind of visa (and not visa exempt) on passport with a copy of lease, or any other then the residence certificate of immigratio some branches in Bangkok are more farang friendly ?

Any experience anybody with K bank in Bangkok * ?
