New Year - Amazing Hua Hin bar raids/closures

Apart from the intercontinental at 10pm.we (on the beach) saw no organised (hotel) fireworks at all.

From the beach, we could see a full set of fireworks from cha am at 12.00. just as big as it has been at any time in the last 10 years.

But, they.are.petchaburi province where things seem to be a lot more relaxed than HH.

Is it turf wars in HH between different groups all playing top trumps with each other ? The governor being at the bottom...

In fairness to Hua Hin, the fireworks on the beach were always advertised (in Thai) as 22:00 for several weeks before the event.
