Absolutely on both points - tyre selection, engine issues (for some), knowledge of the track made for some great racing... :thumb:

Absolutely Nereus - the photo's tell a story, but watching in Realtime (previous page) is frightening. Many were against the "Halo" when it first came in, not too many now though!! Another thing that has come to light is the actions of George Russell after the crash - fair play to the man. :thumb:

It is amazing nobody was injured. The improvements made in safety over the last few years have proved to be life saving.
Woke up this morning breathing that's a good start to the day.

Absolutely. There's a great deal from F1 and motorsports in general that has been passed on to "general motoring" over the years. ABS, Traction Control, Active Suspension...... All now banned by the FIA I might add!!

Thankfully (again), the "Halo" is there!

Ugly, but safe - wasn't that what they said about the Volvo?!

Seriously?

Let's see what Crashappen and Red BS come up with..... Mercs were looking good and I suspect they will do come race day. The BULL does nothing but bitch and complain, as do their fans...... A tad worried for the future methinks.

Apologies for not posting the Sprint Results/Qualifying - a little tied up with rugby and celebrating a first Welsh win on Saffa land.... We've waited a long time!! :thumb:

Anywho, to the Austrian GP - overtaking galore, mechanical issues again for the Scuderia, but Leclerc thankfully (and justly) hangs on for the victory. Mercedes with a 3 - 4 finish certainly helps them, but they were way back from the leaders. Stll, could be interesting in the 2nd half of the tournament - several changes to the Silver Arrows car coming in apparently...

Congrats to VS on the "Yellow Cap" [EDIT] Was dinner "cold" this evening.... :duck: ........ Oh dear "lindos" :naughty:

A 2 week break now until France - should be good, a great track! :thumb:

^ Surprised Tsunoda can see over the steering wheel!! :D

Some interesting stats though - especially when you consider the effect weight can have on lap times. I remember there being a comment regarding fuel weight and what an extra kg lost you time-wise (hence the strict calculations/regulations). Unfortunately, I can't find it for the life of me.....
