I thought this quote from a recent government meeting was funny:

During the nearly 3-hours of talk yesterday to mark the 15th anniversary of the
coup that ousted Thaksin from power on September 19th, 2006, he said that

 Someone spread the rumour that Thaksin has used 2 billion baht to Capt.
Thammanat Phromphao but the plan failed. He questioned the statement
because to bring down Prayut there was a need for 28 MPs to vote against
him and if one divides 2 billion baht with 28 MPs needed it would mean
that each MP would need 71 million baht to vote against, whereas the
going rate to buy out MPs is a mere 5-million baht.

 He told people to check on the news before believing them and not believe
news released by ‘buffalo’.

 He said that the government has cut its limbs out with the decision to fire
2 of its key people in the PPRP and therefore the government’s longevity
is likely to be compromised.
