Having never had one in a home kitchen and survived thus far, im interested to hear of experiences with them
so why do i want / need one ?
Apart from the regular "better ? brands " like Bosch, Electrolux etc
there are a lot of way cheaper brands Tecnogas Grace Camar Tec, and so on
are they of any real use.
the only places ive ever stayed in that have a rangehood appeared to do little and make a god awful noise
Thoughts comments experiences appreciated
Thank You.

Re: Rangehoods
We have one but seldom if ever use it as an extractor, but the light comes in handy and of course if you have a gas hob, it stops the kitchen cabinets from getting too hot!!

Thanks, Dannie Boy .

What about the smell from the cooking? With a range hood it gets drawn away and does not permeate throughout the house. I use the fan all the time when cooking just to keep the smell down.

As long as the hood’s vented to an outside wall (they’re definitely not all like this) otherwise all your doing is recirculating the smellsbrianks wrote:What about the smell from the cooking?
