Ironically they are setting up a stage out the front for an event, and I wondered why bother when the mall is closed, but then I slapped some sense into my own face and reminded myself not to apply logic.
Good boy, you're learning.

Banks opened today and Boots. All in the basement.

All banks apart from Kbank, that is. The bastards!

Oh, and the kebab lady is still open, business as normal. By the lifts.

The rest is shut by law. Food orders are taken from desks operating in the car park. Bread shops bake in their usual ovens but sell from within the supermarket, by where the fruit is sold.

I did see Power Mall doing a Facebook Live promotion today, although it was all in Thai. I presumed they must be open as well.

Not today. Still closed. I wasn't aware Power Mall exists as such anymore at Bluport?

This was 6 hours ago. I assumed if they were advertising live, they were open.

[Edit] Nothing there says Power Mall, but just look at what they are advertising. Also, the post said:

Live! Power Mall Hot Sale🔥🔥ซื้อเป็นคู่คุ้มกว่า

Whatever, yesterday, they weren't open.

The 'power mall' is on the ground floor in front of and at the side of Gourmet Market. So it would be hard not to notice if they were open.

Maybe as with Gourmet Market, as part of the divorce and because of the covid situation, they are allowed to keep operating using such terms for a transitional period?

Just to clarify, another Power Mall ad has just appeared on my page, and it is offering (list follows for Tapatalk users):
  • Pick Up
  • Drive Thru
  • Delivery
  • Grab Express
Getting back to subject - I looked out for the giant TV today - very nice :D

Looks like SCB Bank and Immigration not open yet.

Well, after my wasted trip to Kbank at Bluport on Thursday, I made a wasted trip to Kbank at MV yesterday. Other banks were open.

I should add that Kbank ATM's are up and running at both.

Disgraceful customer service by Kbank and once again, I was forced to go to the branch by the esso garage. If I had to use that branch as my regular bank, I would quit. It's a painful experience.

As it is, I will probably open an account with another bank here.

^^ I wonder if they had a computer problem. I couldn't log-in to their internet banking last night.
