This place has been around for a while but I didn't get a chance to visit until my wife had to attend a five day seminar in Bangkok.
It's on the beach at the corner of Ruamjit and Soi 6 South, just north of the Lumpini condo. They have draft Leo in pints and halves. There is an extensive menu of both Thai and western food. I had a burger which was huge and full of bacon (ham?), delicious fried onions and a decent beef patty. I liked it very much but it was way too much food for lunch after a three hour bike ride. The fries were especially nice.
It seems to be one of the few places in Cha Am where one can get draft beer. ("Why, I remember the wonderful days of Guinness and Kilkenny on tap at the Cha Am Pub", said the old fart.)

Re: The Beach Shack - Cha Am
I’m always on the lookout for a great burger. I will go check it out asap.

Further thinking has me recalling that the Cha Am Pub was then known as Crawford's. It had excellent food, cold beer and, best of all, beer on tap.
Starting in about 2009 it went through several iterations as the Cha Am Pub. It had been closed for years, but recently reopened as the headquarters for the Cha Am Beach reclamation project.
