Just watching the U20's Rugby and the commentator comes out with "He's a Deadeye Dick" - nothing to do with his dislike of the player, but more his goalkicking accuracy!! :D Still, can't remember hearing that phrase before...

^ I can remember an old Chief Petty Officer when I was in the Navy who could recite the whole of that from memory!

I'm always envious of people who can retain long passages of text over a long period of time. Years ago I could recite a few Stanley Holloway monologues at the drop of a hat (Albert and the Lion and The Battle of Hastings in particular), but they've long since faded from my memory. :(

Yes, I've absolutely no idea how you can do that, I struggle with four digit PIN numbers!.
