Guide to posting on Covid-19
Guide to posting on Covid-19
We are getting overwhelmed with new topics on Covid-19/Coronavirus and are trying to keep things in order for ease of reference.
We know this is the largest and most wide reaching event ever to happen to many of us and will dominate things for a long time to come.
However, there is no need to start a new topic on every new news development or person that gets infected.
At the moment we have at least nine different threads going, we don't need twenty nine, so please if possible stick to the following loose guidelines:
Any and all news updates and developments regarding Covid-19 globally: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=38906
Hua Hin specific news and updates and health precautions: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=38929
Hua Hin coronavirus community support efforts: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=39136
Experiences from those that have had it: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=39139
Implications on visas and extensions for staying in Thailand: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=39126
How to deal with self isolation: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=39105
Effects on education: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=39108
Sports affected: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=39101
Everything should fall into one of these categories and mods will move things if they see fit, please do not berate them. All off-topic banter, jokes, and dross will be moved to Foo to keep things on topic and easily referenced. We are not Facebook so are trying to make efforts to keep information relevant, accurate, orderly and up to date.
If you strongly feel that another new Covid-19 topic is warranted please post here for consideration.
Stay safe in these tough times.

Re: Guide to positing on Covid-19
Why not start a virus subforum? Then there can be as many threads as you like all with clearly marked different headings. The main coronavirus thread is 2 months old and has over 60 pages already, that's a page a day. Unprecedented. This inevitably means that some interesting posts (there are a few!) are getting lost.
This is the way
Re: Guide to posting on Covid-19
There are still new coronavirus topics appearing and we are still merging them with the existing ones above. We are also moving an inordinate amount of dross to Foo to keep things on topic.
A Covid-19 temporary sub-forum is being considered, if implemented all topics will be moved there and new ones can be opened.

Re: Guide to posting on Covid-19
We have now created a temporary sub-forum for any and all coronavirus/Covid-19 topics and posts. viewforum.php?f=50
To keep information orderly and easy to access any and all existing and new topics regarding the outbreak will be moved into this forum - we do not expect argument over this.
You are now welcome to start new topics on the crisis providing they are all kept within this sub-forum.

Just log out of the forum, then log back in again. That should fix things.

For that app you will need to logout, go to the Android settings and clear the app cache, and log back in again.
