I would like to purchase a good quality air purifier that will will work for a room up to 30 sq meters.
With all the bad air we have had here since mid December I have developed a dry ticklish throat that makes me cough, especially at night. I already have pollen allergies and this air pollution is not helping matters.
Your suggestions are welcome

You could probably try either Powerbuy or HomePro in Hua Hin or alternatively Lazada online

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=38565A lot of info on the Internet about air purifiers for home use. There are some available for around 2,000 Baht, right up to those that cost around 60,000 Baht. So what's the deal? Is some "filter" from Lazada for around 5,000 Baht going to do the same job as an IQAir 250 brand that costs around 60,000 Baht, plus a replaceable filter at around 9,000 Baht?
I hope the following links are acceptable, especially Richard Barrow as he does not have an axe to grind. That "other" website also has some good info for those that indulge.

Regular Guy, you obviously know your own body, and affects dirty air may be having. However, the affect you are describing is a common reaction to aircon as well. I suffered regularly for a few years after moving here - ceasing the use of overnight aircon resolved the problem almost immediately for me. We have several regular visitors who have also suffered similarly (we store their fans whilst they are back in the UK). I was horrified at the thought of trying to sleep without aircon, but it hasn't been a problem. Cheaper electricity bills are the obvious welcome side effect.
