Recommended Dentist in HH

Post by fabman »

Could anyone please reccomend a good dentist here in HH please.
I think I probably need a tooth taken out, I have quite sensitive teeth and would prefer an understanding dentist.
Also does anymore know the estimated cost of having a tooth pulled out.
Many thanks

Cool Smile has always been good for me, and was very considerate when my GF needed an abcess sorted (she is terrified of dentists)
I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly...

I asked this very same question upon this forum last year and was given Dr Nana (in HH near bus station and MG dealership. I took up this recommendation and used this dentist to have 2 teeth removed, root canal work, crown work and a couple of fillings. The recommendation proved to be very good, supported by very good staff, gentle treatment and understanding of my fear of dentists. Very rough costs, 600 for xray, 800 per tooth removal, fillings on average 600 per site or side of tooth. Also in my case, plenty of injections to numb any pain.
Hope this helps.

I'd agree with recommending Nana. She's done work on my mother a couple of times when she's been here on holiday. She's 94 and says that she's never had such good treatment back in the UK.

I’ve used Dr Nana as well and would definitely recommend her for the same reasons mentioned above

Any idea what the cost of implants are? I remember them being about the same price as UK before (50,000 baht). Have prices gone down at all?

I always try to fit any dentist work in when I holiday in Thailand as it's cheaper (and usually better).

Why not just go in and ask. They're very approachable. I've asked on behalf of my mother before making any decisions. No problem.

Anyone know any dentists that are open during the lockdown? I have a broken filling :(

I checked a couple, including Coolsmile but the businesses next door said the dentists aren't working.

Nana have adjusted hours 9:30 till 17:00 and closed Sat/Sun.

They will only deal with emergency or urgent treatment. Usual temperature check.

They will not accept you if you've been outside the country in the last 14 days.

They will ask you screening questions.

Are dental services back to normal. I will be back in Hua Hin shortly and a filling has dropped out while in ASQ. I sent a message to my normal dentist and have not had a response. Will definitely be phoning later on 18th Feb if I have not heard anything.

My usual dentist is open. The time before that was September. I would think others are open as well.
