Window cleaning service

Post by MLS »

I know this sounds hideously first-world picky, but otherwise-wonderful house maids haven’t ever quite got the hang of cleaning windows properly. So for me an ideal scenario would be a monthly service, with someone using one of those hynoptically-efficient blade thingies with their colleague following up a drying/polishing cloth, to quickly and efficiently clean my ground floor windows, both inside and out, like those commercial services. Does anything like this exist in Hua Hin?

Why not teach one of your otherwise wonderful house maids how to do it properly...?

Because if I knew how to do it properly I could have taught them how to do it, or I'd do it myself.
But, like the maids, I don’t. Hence my question on this usually helpful forum.

This may not be what you want but for years we have used either proprietary bought glass cleaner or a mixture of water and white vinegar, sprayed onto the windows with a hand-held sprayer and the windows cleaned using sheets of old newspapers - the windows come up sparkling!!

Rite - vinegar gets them clean and ink from the old newspapers gives them a bright shine
