I have some very selective (and very wealthy) friends coming to visit soon, and would like to find some suitably luxury accommodation for them.
If money were no object, where would you choose to stay in Hua Hin?
I hear that it is very difficult to get a reservation at Chiva Som. What are some other upmarket alternatives please?
Hua Hin accommodation: the best of the best?
Re: The best of the best?
I think you can get reservation at the Chiva Som website, if you are prepared to pay 86 000 Baht per night!!!

The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.

Re: The best of the best?
I'm guessing most places, that truly wealthy people stay at, are way out of most of our budgets, so wouldn't expect too many personal suggestions.
How many here have spent 20k baht for a room, let alone 50-100k or more ?
I peeked at Chiva Som site, for end of the month, and a mere 136+ k a night, minimum 3 night stay..........seriously. That's more than the yearly requirement for a marriage visa, that is seems many are have a hard time coming up with.
If I had that kind of money, I wouldn't waste it on a room for one night. Find it hard to believe people with that kind of money even bother coming to Thailand.
Guess they're out slumming it.
