I was planning to buy two side-by-side townhouses 50 metres from Kho Takiab beach. The plan was to spend a bit of money converting them into a 8-bed roomed Guest house / reception / restaurant & bar. The townhouses were going cheap because they are in disrepair, but renovation is cheap also!
