House for rent in Nakhon Pathom
Mr.VS and I have decided to spend the rest of our days back in England after twenty glorious years living in Thailand. We'll be leaving at the end of July next year, and would love to find someone to take over the rental of our house. We've lived in the house for 8 years, and the landlord is an absolute honey. He's not a property developer - he built the house for his young family and lived here until he moved to Bangkok. We are his first tenants. I'll just list the benefits of this fabulous house.
Location: Outskirts of Nakhon Pathom but still within cycling/hitting distance of the town. Large Tesco Lotus 3km, Makro 6km, Big C 7km. Tesco Express/7 Elevens 2km.
House: Detached. Ground floor - kitchen, large living room, office/bedroom, bathroom, large hallway.
First floor - 2 double bedrooms, large landing, bathroom
Garden: Very large (half a rai?) and private. Only near neighbours are an old folks' home one side and a lake
the other side. Driveway and parking for 3 cars.
Price: 8,000 baht p/m.

Here's a Google map of where it is. I tried to put a big pin, but failed. Look for a yellow star with a little green house on it.

Well, VS, this comes as a surprise. I have always been under the impression that you and Mr. VS were to be anchored in LOS for life.
Anyway, I'm sure you both have good reason for leaving, and I wish you both all of the best.

OK, the house doesn't seem to appear on the map. We are almost opposite the Cafe Idea Box if you type in these co-ordinates on Google maps.

Looks like a beautiful house and terrific value. Do you have more pictures of the property please?

Re: House for rent in Nakhon Pathom
It has certainly been a lovely home for us, and the best one we've lived in from all the houses we've rented over the past 20 years.
We're both mega busy at work at the moment, but hope to do some interior photos shortly. We also have someone coming to look at the place next week, so will wait until after their visit before we post any photos to promote the rental.
I'd like to clarify a couple of things: 1) This house is not in Hua Hin - it's in Nakhon Pathom which is 60km west of Bangkok, and 2) We don't own the house. We signed a one-year rental agreement about 7 years' ago, and the lovely landlord has just let it roll. We, and he, just want someone to live in and love the house as much as we all do.

Hey VS, sorry to be a burden or a hassle, just wondering if that person came and inspected the property?

You're certainly not a hassle, and it's still available to rent in July.
Yes, they did come and view the property, and although they liked the house and the area, have decided that they would prefer a single-storey property.
If we can get round to it this weekend we'll take some internal photos to give anyone interested an idea of what it's like inside. If you'd like to come and have a look yourself, just email me at ajarnlinda@gmail.com.

Thanks VS for the reply.
Very interested in seeing some more pictures when you get some time, no real rush as we aren't back into LOS until February, but the July date could work well for us as we will be back again the middle of June for a much longer stay. We would be looking for a long term rental, so fingers crossed it works out alright for both us and you!

Some interior photos of the house for any potential renters. Just a reminder that it will be available for rent from August 1st, and the monthly rental is 8,000 baht. We don't own the house, just trying to help the lovely landlord out. It's in Nakhon Pathom (60km west of Bangkok) - just scroll up for other details.
