Does cricket ever get shown in the bars or elsewhere in Hua Hin. Or does it mean when the wonderful time comes and i retire to Thailand, i will be limited to following the all conquering England team on Internet radio.

The world cup was shown about 4 years ago. PPV tv on the satellite network sometimes puts on the test series so you shpould get some. I think there is one other satellite that does get indian tv, so they will definitley show cricket.

I Australia are in it, you may get it on ABC Asia Pacific.
In Australia, most of the cricket overseas test matches are shown via Foxtel, so if they get it, would assume the likes of Sky etc will also pick it up.
All of Australia's home test matches are shwon on free to air.
We watched the recent England/Sri Lanka game on Foxtel in the pub. It may pay to make some inquiries with the local cable people to see what is available.

In feb i was at a bar in bkk, i think it was called "the Robin hood" near emporium shopping centre on th sukhimvit. They had Aussie south africa game been telivised on one of the star world channels. Nice pub to escape the hustle bustle on the street.
Never saw any cricket in HH though, but if its all by satelliete then i dont see why not. Maybe i will add this to what i would like in a HH bar. Plenty of soccer in HH if thats your cup o tea.
And who is the all conquering cricket side may i ask again?????
