Tell me about it!
After speaking with Expedia a few days ago when I was told that Expedia have to wait for EVA to inform them of cancellations before they can do anything. It was all over EVA's website with details of cancelled flights etc. I was promised a call back but never got one.
Anyway, today I spent an hour on the phone to someone in Bangalore, India who was speaking to me through an exchange in Arizona, to try and cancel a booking made in Thailand for a flight on a Taiwanese/Chinese airline!!
The mind boggles.
I did eventually get it cancelled (I hope) although as yet I've not had confirmation by mail. I've now booked a flight with Korean Air. A little more expensive but better in terms of waiting for transfer (1 hr 20 mins).
All's well that ends well.
