Well, stuff me! I am running Windows 10 with the latest office software. The default browser is the stupidly named "Bing", which absolutely will not work on the immigration website.

I changed to Internet Explorer and after a couple of false starts, the form filled up as fast as I could enter the data!
At the end it shows a summery form, which I saved and printed out. It shows all the entered data with a yellow coloured box in the top right hand corner stating "PENDING". So now I wait with baited breath for the confirmation email!

The word software gives the option to save all the entry data, which I have done, so now it just means a click on each field box to automatically enter the saved data next time.

Nereus, I don't think they send you a confirmation email, check the site in a day or two and it should have been accepted and you can print off your next 90 day slip.

Ok, thanks Pagey. Not sure how you find the correct page, unless you have to enter the TRN number, which is over 20 characters in length. :?

Well, even more amazing is that I just received an email advising approval, similar to that posted by Ratsima.

You have to wonder just what some of these bods are actually ingesting. When I opened the email it is written in what appears to be Japanese! It is then required to go back into the website, enter both the Transaction Reference Number, and your passport details. It then opens a page from where you can print the approved form.

All complete and saved me a trip from Bangkok to Hua Hin. :thumb:

I found that I could enter either; no need to enter both.

Well, one thing they haven't been is consistent.

Interesting. I just tried it with only passport number, DOB and nationality. No go.

But, with only the reference number and without the ID data, it returned the approval note.

Weird.

Thought I'd try it out.

I live in Hua Hin, 90 day due 4th May.

9am yesterday morning I loaded up Internet Explorer, filled out the required details on the form and sent it off into the unknown. At 10.25am this morning I got the reply saying approved. Very impressed and more than a little surprised.

Next report due 19th July.

Just tried to do my 90 days online in IE. Completed the first page with my details and can't get any further. Keeps coming up with "Certificate Error". Looks like I'll have to go myself.

Assuming you complete your 90 day reporting online successfully, do you get some official download to printout and insert in your passport?

Sometimes wonder happen. I have tried it in the past and it never worked, BUT TODAY it worked. First I made it with Chrome, but after filling out the first page, the second page did not load. Then I made the same with IE and it worked and the status is pending now.

And there were no additional silly questions.

They seem to have changed the code a bit. They no longer do a browser check to see if you're using IE. They've added some Safari-specific code and they seem to have borrowed a bit from Evernote:

Code: Select all

/*! Copyright 2009-2015 Evernote Corporation. All rights reserved. */
I've also noticed that the form-entry is much faster than before. Perhaps they've cleaned up the onkeyup code that they were using before and which seemed to slow things down.
