I'm not sure, but I think it's not every night. Maybe you can find a way to check which nights, I didn't go for a while.

I'm inclined to agree

This ideas of music on thu to Sun only is outdated by at least a year I'd say

Anyway happy to hear good reports of curry, hoping to go this week

For various reasons (none to do with the quality of the food) we made our first trip to Shiva tonight for several months. Either tonight was very special, or they have really upped their game. The food was probably the best I've had at Shiva - really enjoyed it.

Finally got round to trying the Indian in Baan Khun Por last night and I was suitably impressed!

I had..

Chicken Jalfrezi - 100b
Veggie Samosa - 20b
Onion Bhaji - 20b
Yellow Rice - 20b

All items were very good and very tasty. I will be going again for sure.

My Pal had a vindaloo and was also impressed. His garlic naan looked delicious.

Someone above said that when cost is a factor it's the best in Hua Hin. Albeit I've only been once I can see the sense in that remark.

By way of comparison my food last night was certainly better than I had at Shiva(2 visits approx 12/18 months ago). But nonetheless I'm going to give Shiva one final try based on recent posts on here.

Been to Shiva so many times and it's never been bad, so I think you got the same as always. They certainly don't need to up anything.

I’m sure most restaurants have “good days” and “bad days” but at Shiva id say that their normal is say 90% - a good day may be 95% and a bad day 85%.

I’m sure some will disagree and it’s possible that they do have the occasional “very bad day” but I’d be very surprised if that’s not a very rare event.

I’ve not been to many of the other restaurant’s recently mentioned, so Baan Khun Por may be equally good and considerably cheaper and therefore worth a visit.

I've been reading reports that Kwality has re-opened in Soi 94 near Space Condo. They used to do a decent meal when they were just behind 94 before. Will hopefully give them a try tomorrow or Sunday.
