Whilst I've enjoyed watching the TT in the past, with it's "road layout"it's a ridiculously fast and dangerous course.

Mark Purlow's death add's to a dreadful record of the Isle of Man TT. RIP

Third fatality so far: Experienced competitor Davy Morgan has died following an accident during the 2022 Isle of Man TT Supersport race in what was his 80th TT start.

Maybe they haven't had enough time to refamiliarize with the circuit after a 3-year lockdown. RIP.

Five dead now. A father and son the most recent.

INVESTIGATIONS INTO INCIDENTS THAT CLAIMED FIVE LIVES BEGINS
ACU Events Ltd, the organisers for the Isle of Man TT Races, have confirmed an investigation process is underway to determine the sequence of events that led to the death of five competitors in four separate incidents during the 2022 event.

The first Isle of Man TT to take place since 2019, this year’s event was marred by accidents that claimed the lives of Mark Purslow on 1 June (Supersport Practice), Cesar Chanal on 4 June (Sidecar Race 1), Davy Morgan on 6 June (Supersport Race 2), Roger Stockton and Bradley Stockton on 10 June (Sidecar Race 2).

A tragic loss of life but these racers were doing something they loved - I can see the PC/nanny brigade trying to scupper this event.

One of my favourite weeks of the year is about to begin with the first race of the IOM TT on Saturday.

Can watch coverage on ITV4 (ITV X) if you have a VPN.

I've not seen a lot this year with regards to advertising/promotion of the TT.

I'll certainly watch some, but not looking forward to an unwanted (and sadly expected) increase in race fatalities..... I think it was 6 last year :(

ISLE OF MAN TT RESULTS, COMBINED QUALIFYING - DUNLOP BREAKS 135MPH
Qualifying week at the 2023 Isle of Man TT has concluded, with three riders - topped by Michael Dunlop - dominating the solo classes, and the Birchall brothers on top in the Sidecar class.

If Peter Hickman arrived on the Isle of Man for the 2023 TT as the man to beat, Michael Dunlop arrived on the island as a man willing to take up that challenge. Throughout the past five days, it has been Dunlop and Hickman who have dominated the solo classes at the Isle of Man TT, together with Dean Harrison, with Dunlop taking the top spot in the Superbike, Supersport, and Supertwin classes, while Hickman is fastest in Superstock.
