The bus is just one level down from where you come out from the customs point but I would say you have virtually no chance of getting off the aircraft and through immigration that quickly, particularly if your flight arrives at one of those gates that is a kilometer from immigration.raphoedon wrote:Hi, I see there's a bus at 1.30pm from swampy. My flight lands at 1pm,is it far to the bus terminal?
My feeling is that this connection time is way too tight. Any experiences?

On the HH map it shows two bus stations. [Link removed, no competing websites please, our own map will be updated shortly.]
Can someone confirm which one that I use for this bus going to BKK?
Thanks

It's neither of those, it's a new one further south past Market Village shopping mall:

Re: Airport VIP Bus to and from Hua Hin
Have heard now that they are looking to increase the service with extra buses probably starting next month, they're also seemingly looking around for new premises/new station. Still don't know any more specific details but will post when I do.

Used this service twice recently, absolutely spot on and a welcome alternative to the vans-from-hell.
It is the most comfortable bus I have ever been on!

I'll second that. I've used it twice in the last month, both times leaving from Hua Hin at 7am. It was about 5 minutes late leaving one time, but apart from that everything okay. Arrived at airport about 10.15am both times.buksida wrote:Used this service twice recently, absolutely spot on and a welcome alternative to the vans-from-hell.

Both times only had about 8-9 passengers. I think they'd want to improve on that to make it profitable.

Hopefully, if they continue to provide a reliable service, more people will have the confidence to book it going to and from the airport.
I am going to give it a bash on my next trip. Just wondering if they can squeeze in the golf clubs.....

Re: Airport VIP Bus to and from Hua Hin
I arrive at BKK Airport at 11:30am on Tuesday. Is there a bus leaving for Hua Hin close to that time? If so do I need to book in advance or can I just pay and go? Or, can I pay at the airport when I land? How much was the bus charges one way?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
