For proper fish and chips with mushy peas and bread and butter try Gifs Kitchen just up soi 94 past souy vista

I've only eaten in there twice, but both times food was good and inexpensive. V. friendly staff, and somewhere you can go and just have a beer and a sandwich and watch sport on a decent-sized flatscreen. I may be wrong but my impressions are that it's a (family)bar-restaurant type place, rather than a full on restaurant!? More Bar Tender/Maria's Bar/Bobby's Bar than Kim's Cafe/Naab Thong to name a few in the area.

They also do faggots for those that like it

Never noticed any in there but weren't really looking, tried one once and not really my thing. Richard will be a regular visitor though, judging by what everyone down Lin's says.


Apologies but thought it worth giving a quick review New Bar Tender location (next door) were still working on the kitchen a couple days ago, so don't think they serving up food just yet.

Its up at the top end, when the road swings to the right you take the sharp left by the pharmacy, this is the continuation of 94 and its about 100m up on the left hand side
