I forgot to ask about the comeback, but had any one actually noticed MJ was gone?

He was pretty much done in the U.S. around 20 years ago but certain European and Asian countries still idolize him.

I think Understudy can name one of those European countries... I was there on business in the mid 90's and a major European city was nearly shut down because MJ was there. Thousands of fans were on 24 hour watch outside his hotel and the police had to erect barricades around the entire place to keep them back.

I was amazed by the whole spectacle... :?

Hello there MJ fans & enthusiasts

You are absolutely right hhfarang! It was in 1992 when his "Popjesty came to Berlin on his "Dangerous" World Tour! I was still a Kid back then but I could remember them crowd of cheering Teens outside The "Grand Hotel Berlin". He held his concert @ Berlins Olympic Stadium which 55000 People attended the Atmosphere was simply breathtaking after seeing the footage a day later on TV. I wanted to go too MJ's concert but my parents thought I was too young for it and my Sister she was here in Thailand.
Now that's why it's so important for me to attend his last concerts in London this July. To see his popjesty Micheal Jackson perform his "Dancing Miracles" or miracles of Flying wax body parts live on stage for the last time!

Understudy, as Sarge sometimes says to me... "You got it in one!"

I worked for Siemens and was in Berlin on assignment and I just couldn't believe the ruckus caused by MJ being there. He certainly was and I believe still is very popular in Germany!
