Hi all.
Been checkin these posts for some time now and seens that the bars close around midnight-2.00am. Is there anything to do after that? Or is it home to bed ( or someone elses bed for that matter? ) after that?

There are some late night karoke bars - if that's your poison.
Also, most bars will operate a "lock-in" policy if there's enough trade.
Closing time isn't a Hua Hin thing - it's all over the country. The government are alarmed at the amount young Thais are drinking, so are determined to return the country to "moral" times.
Furthermore, they want to restrict off-sales to 11am-2pm and 5pm to 11pm/midnight. I've not heard that it's happening in HH yet, but certain 7-11s and other convenience stores in Bangkok are apparantly doing it now.

until 0100 every bar is open and you can have fun with music,gi.....pool.
after 0100 the bars close or switch off the music and sometimes the police check the bars. Hilton has open until 0200 and is a big pickup place at the moment. City Beach has some infamous shows now for thai-people. And the karaoke bars make big business after 0200...
And old-germany has the best chang-beer at the moment.
So I never came home before 0400
