4 of my family, including myself, had our 2nd booster at the Red Cross. No problem except for the paperwork. I, the only farang, got my vaccination certificate showing all 4 shots even before I'd had the shot.
However the other 3 who are Thai were told that to get the certificate they have to download and print it off. My daughter is having a problem with that. Has anyone else done it successfully?
When we had the first 3 shots sponsored by the BCCT in BKK, we all had identical certificates on the spot. When asked at the Red Cross why I got my certificate and the Thais didn't, they said that I as a farang had a special number which allowed them to print it immediately.
My daughter needs it to travel to the US but the option seems to be that you view a PDF then take a screen shot. Not sure that would be sufficient for entry to the US.
Any help appreciated.

I didn’t think that 2nd booster shots formed part of the “fully vaccinated” criteria?

Thanks for that, DB. From what I've seen, it seems you're correct.
Further to receiving my second booster yesterday and having no reaction through the day:
I'm beginning to wish I'd not bothered with this last booster. Never had a reaction before but this is something else and it hasn't peaked yet.
Started last night with a sore arm. Bad enough to keep me awake. Now it's spread to my neck and in the last couple of hours it's crossed the back of my neck and affected the other shoulder.
Even moving my head is painful. If it gets any worse I'd better see a doc for some strong painkillers if nothing else.
Hopefully it'll just be a memory by tomorrow. Thinking positive!!
Anyone else had acute side effects?

Pfizer. That makes 2 x AZ and 2 x Pfizer. Until now I never suffered any side effects.

I am 2 x AZ, 1 x Moderna and 1 x Pfizer. No real efects with Pfizer, apart from feeling a little pain as it was injected. The other half, however, also had Pfizer and suffered badly and has said, 'never again'.

My other half had the Moderna from the start and she has said "never again" concerning that. Strange how these things affect people differently.

Day 3 of my second booster and it appears that I'm over it. Still a bit 'achey' but mostly back to normal, thankfully.

I had a similar reaction with my first Pfizer booster. No initial aches then a day later very sore upper arm for 3 or 4 days.

Just got back from HH Hospital after getting a couple of the kids their first covid jab.
I've always been impressed with the VIP clinic but not so much for the Thai treatment. Rooms full of people on every floor probably spending most of the day waiting for treatment.
However, I was suitably impressed with my visit today. Shots were on the 10th floor car park building. I've never been up there before but it's an excellent venue, with panoramic views!! In and out in 45 mins, most of which was paperwork.

my experience:
in the company where I work, about 80% are vaccinated, the brave rest have not yet been vaccinated,
and now it shows:
The vaccinated had 2-5 days of absence immediately after the vaccination due to side effects of the vaccination, and were usually at least 2x, sometimes 3x, already allegedly ill with Covid19.
the unvaccinated, on the other hand, have either not noticed anything (without symptoms) or have not yet become ill. (like me).
Conclusion: Vaccinated people get sick repeatedly, so vaccination can neither be helpful nor healthy.
and some shots (charge-no) are obviously extremly dangerous

The Covid mortality rate (the numbers that mean anything) for PKK this year follows.

The majority of seriously ill and mortalities are among the unvaccinated by a huge margin.
So that conclusion:
Conclusion: Vaccinated people get sick repeatedly, so vaccination can neither be helpful nor healthy.
doesn't add up.
