This is a good one, hhfarang. I visited all but Nanjing in the 80's, actually lived in Guangzhou for a spell of five months. Now that I've revisited Shanghai and Hangzhou, it's no wonder, I don't recognize them from the old any more.

Very interesting video that shows the populations of the worlds biggest cities as they change from 1500 to 2018... I never knew that for a long time London was the most populous city in the world.
