This could go into the "Booster" thread, but I know some who haven't had their purchased Moderna #1, and quite a few waiting for #2. So as not to split hairs this News has been put here.

3.7m Moderna doses arriving this month

https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/ge ... this-month

ZP Therapeutics, a division of Zuellig Pharmwill, will deliver 3.7 million doses of the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine to the Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) and private hospitals this month, the company's general manager in Thailand said on Thursday.

Sunaina Kitkasetpaisarn said the Covid-19 situation was still worrying, particularly with the rapid spread of the Omicron variant.

A 50-microgramme booster dose of Moderna's mRNA vaccine could increase neutralising antibody levels 37-fold above pre-boost levels, while a 100-microgramme booster dose could boost them about 83 times, she said.

The company was delivering 1.3 million doses on Jan 6, 870,000 doses on Jan 8 and 1.53 million doses on Jan 17, she said.

There were 5,775 new Covid-19 cases and 11 more fatalities recorded during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry said on Thursday morning.

The rise from 3,899 daily infections in Wednesday's bulletin prompted the government to raise the Covid alert level to 4.

HHH Covid-19 VACCINATION

HHH posted this postponement message which I'm guessing is for people with appointments for a second Pfizer shot. This might be a wrong assumption!!!

Singapore breaks down Covid deaths by vaccine

https://www.bangkokpost.com/world/22450 ... owest-rate

Singapore's health minister Ong Ye Kung said vaccines that are available in the country have been far more effective than doing nothing at all, as he implored holdouts to get inoculated in the face of an expected wave of the Omicron coronavirus variant.

Nearly 70% of those who died from Covid-19 last year in the city-state were not fully vaccinated, according to Ong, despite the unvaccinated making up a far smaller percentage of the population. About 87% of the total population was vaccinated as of the end of the year, according to Ministry of Health data.

Ong, in comments made in parliament on Monday, detailed statistics from the 247 deaths recorded among fully vaccinated individuals last year. The statistics signaled mRNA vaccines possibly offer higher protection:

- 11 deaths per 100,000: Sinovac
- 7.8 deaths per 100,000: Sinopharm
- 6.2 deaths per 100,000: Pfizer/BioNTech
- One death per 100,000: Moderna

NOTE: Singapore has recorded 838 deaths so far out of a total of more than 285,000 cases; 802 deaths in 2021.

Ong reiterated that Singapore’s key strategy remains to live with Covid-19, which includes not locking down the country’s borders. The government "cannot over-liberalise all social activities" and remove all restrictions, though it also cannot close its borders, which will "cause tremendous suffering." The country will respond "flexibly and appropriately to twists and turns that the pandemic situation may take," he said.

Among other details from Ong’s remarks to Parliament:

- Expects Omicron to become dominant variant within next few weeks
- Singapore’s ICU manpower has increased by 12% over the past year to about 1,800, and the city-state is training about 500 more staff to assist with such operations

There are presently no plans to introduce vaccination differentiated measures for children below 12 years old in overall school settings, Ong said.

Since vaccination for younger kids kicked off over the last few weeks, there have been no serious adverse events reported so far, senior minister of state for health Janil Puthucheary also said in parliament.

[Mod Edit] Post removed because you have also posted in the correct thread. We already have Covid information overload, we do not need it duplicating.

Does the Mor Prom app show it as Chonburi Hospital - when I try to find it on the app list, that’s the only option?

Anyone who registered with HHH for Moderna yesterday can check if they were successful by looking at https://datastudio.google.com/s/jQpQDkm_yjU. Apparently this was oversubscribed so success not guaranteed. Looks like 1st shots not successful. This registration was also available for boosters.
