Clean Hua Hin's beaches movement - Trash Hero
Re: Clean Hua Hin's beaches movement - Trash Hero
I've just driven that way. I was quite disappointed at the bottom of the hill because it was still filthy. Then I obviously got to the start point - from there on in, it was spotless right up the hill - a good job.

38 Heroes (including 2 kids) turned up at today's beach clean. A particularly troublesome area was identified as the holes between the rocks on the ferry pier. It was so bad, it might be the target of next week's clean as well.
150Kg of rubbish was cleared, which is a fantastic effort - a HUGE WELL DONE to everybody involved.

Yesterday's cleanup on North Takiab Beach saw 41 Heroes (including 10 kids) clear 70Kg of mainly foam, plastic cups, bags and straws. Many straws were still in their original packaging, so obviously not needed when drinks were purchased.
A fantastic effort guys - well done.

Very sorry, I'm a bit late with the report on Sunday's clean-up.
This week 34 Heroes (including 1 child) collected 320 Kg of trash from Hua Hin beach near the Fisherman's Village/pier. If you think, that is almost 10Kg per person taking a 1 hour stroll along the beach.
A monumental effort guys - well done.

No Sunday clean-up this week guys.
This week we'll see a joint clean-up by both Hua Hin and Chumphon Heroes, but on MONDAY. The groups will meet at 4pm at Khao Tao beach. They will then split into 2 groups, one cleaning the beach, and one cleaning the lake area.
All Heroes, both new and old will be very welcome.

We welcomed the Trash Hero Chumpon team this week to help us in a mammoth beach clearance exercise.
A staggering 167 Heroes (including 2 kids) turned up to clean Khao Tao beach. In just 1 hour, they removed over 450 Kg of trashes.
A truly astounding effort guys - very well done and a big thank you.
