Grandma's Papaya Salad-service the way it otta be

Post by huahinsimon »

Had lunch at Grandma's (cornor Chomsin/Naebkahardt). ordered som tam (of course),sticky rice, BBQ pork, and Heine. Salad great. rice sticky, Heine cold, BBQ pork NOT BBQed!-oven roasted. Called this to the attention of Grandma? Sorry out of charcol she says, was roasted in oven. "You no like, pick something else, no problem." :thumb:
Now that's the attitude that brings a customer back.
It was my lucky day, I had the best green curry chicken I ever had in Hua Hin. :D And when the bill came I wasnt charged for the BBQ pork!! :thumb: I say this because at my last and final visit to the Pasta Factory I sent back a minestrone soup that was spagetti soup and got charged for it. Even had to argue with the owner about not paying. "You ordered it," he said.
Not minestorne I said. "Well that's the way we serve it here, He said.

I recommend giving Grandma a try. Oh, for full disclosure she is NOT my Grandma. :D
