Flight booking

Got any favourite airlines or some special tips you want to share?

Coming from the UK i can recommend Emirates and Etihad equally for price, availability, service on-board, and that all-important stewardess amazingness factor (SAF).

Main factor usually for me is price with £450 to £550 being the norm and ebookers/lastminute the usual routes to get a good deal.

Good for you.
550 sounds a bit pricey.

Not as far as I'm aware, but maybe only a short "touchdown".
Eva Air. Direct and good service.
Also, a member has recently come over on Aeroflot and reckoned it was great value. Not direct.

I have been using Thai premium services and have always been pleased with them. Have also used Eva but not often able to get a seat.

Now I am retired and watching the pennies, sorry Baht, I travelled with Qatar up the back for 485 pounds, very good service and suprisingly comfortable.

Very quck connection, with just time to use the loo and stretch my legs.

I too can recommend Qatar Airlines from Manchester. Very good on board entertainment. Food and Drinks Good and Plentiful. Will be using them at the end of January when we move to Hua Hin for GOOD......

I had a bad experience on the way back at Doha, Should have been 2 hours wait but ended up over 6 hours wait, apparently something about code sharing and waiting for another flight to get to Doha. The airport was bloody freezing overnight (aircon), nearly died. Will seriously be reconsidering dropping down on my next trip as you are then open to two sets of delays each way.

Depends what month your talking about.

Ive just paid £200 more for my flight with Emirates in December than I did for the same flight in June.

Governor,

As lomuamart says, I have recently used Aeroflot - 1072 Pounds all in for 3 of us. 1.5 Hours stopover outbound and less than an hour on the return trip. Very comfortable - I'm 6 foot 5 inches and obese - I had enough room. If you're looking for value for money, you can't beat it.
Championship Stoke City 3 - 0 Plymouth Argyle

Points 48; Position 20
