Thanks Pete, I'd never heard that story before.

Strangely enough, I was on the same plane as the Ratchaburi team last week, and couldn't get thoughts of the Munich disaster out of my mind.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 0 Hull City

Points 51; Position 21
Consolidated - Championship Next Season

News to me too, Pete, a tragic and moving story.

Both Championship semi-final playoff games end in a 0-0 tie. So leg 2 is the only leg now. Very strange no one could score at all. Are they that evenly matched.

Probably a case of nerves with nobody wanting to lose with so much at stake - hopefully the return fixture will be the opposite?

Norwich and West Brom blew their home advantage. Leeds and Southampton I would bet on now.

Evenly matched at being poor!

My take on the two games is that Southampton and WBA both look in better shape than either Leeds or Norwich, who were woeful. But they all lost form in their last 6 league games.

But as the next game for all 4 is effectivelly a winner takes all final, who knows who will emerge as winners?

Watching the Europa League final. Wouldn't usually be that interested, but Bayer Leverkusen are searching for an unbeaten season. They've already secured an unbeaten league run, domestic cup final coming later and the Europa final tonight. Been touted, should they do it, as the best season by a team ever...

They're 2 down at the minute, half hour to play!

3 nil, Lookman hattrick! Barring something extraordinary (they've been 2 nil down in the 90th minute before this season) Leverkusen are heading towards their first defeat!

Another wonderful advert for football - what chaos will (some of) the Czech fans bring to the Euros?

"The Czech Cup final was marred with ugly scenes of violence between supporters of Sparta Prague and Viktoria Plzen after fans rushed the pitch after the final whistle at the Doosan Arena."

Vincent Company looks set to be the next Bayern manager. The bloke who just got relegation with Burnley. After relieving spurs of Eric Dier they've also enquired about Emerson Royal.

What the fk is happening over there!?

Maybe they got him on the cheap? :neener: :duck:

I also see Spurs are trying to make a mint out of a proper sport this weekend... "What the fk is happening over there!?.."
