/\ No worries Maguire and Jones will be free next season to support Eric D in defence

Re: Premier League 2022-23
Everton left it extremely late to get an equaliser to boost their survival chances, albeit it’s still on a knife edge!!
Elsewhere, Forrest managed an unlikely looking win against Champion contenders Arsenal - that’s the view of a few weeks ago - as it happened Arsenal well and truly blew their season away and in the process, handed City the title without having to play a game - I’m not sure whether that bodes well for Chelsea today or not - City could take it easy and allow Chelsea to win, or they could easily thrash them 5 or 6 nil?
Can Leeds somehow find a way of avoiding relegation - Leicester already look virtually doomed?
By Sunday next week, all will be revealed!!

Great little thread on the man, the myth, the legend... Neil Warnock. What a character! Great account to follow this one if you enjoy some of the more bizarre/interesting stories behind big names of the beautiful game.

^^Why thank you, Pietro, that was very moving. I'll tell you one thing about the 80s, at least footballers didn't have the silly haircuts these idiots sport nowadays...
(EDIT: And I was there. I was the one in yellow with the white stockings and suspenders... )

Cracking stuff, Pete. Good, solid, catchy song with great footage. Can't say the same for England football team's effort in 1990.

Gotta feel for Lampard though. To relegate two teams in a season was always going to be a tough ask.

Medics really go the extra mile nowadays. Modern footballers have got it good.

It would seem that the Chelsea Women’s team have done slightly better than their male equivalents!!

Re: Premier League 2022-23
Final two relegation positions to be resolved later today. All three teams in the mix (Everton, Leicester and Leeds) are all playing at home and on paper all three are winnable, although I’d be surprised if that is what happens. Although Everton have a 2 point advantage, a draw could easily result in them having the same point level as the other two teams if they win, but a GD worse than Leicester and similar to Leeds (if they win). They’ll be some sore fingers by the end of the day!!
