Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand

I'll never complain about this sort of weather, loving it at the moment because it isn't constantly pissing down and it isn't minging hot. This is the best time of year for climate IMO.

I’ve noticed the past few days that with some fairly strong winds it’s felt quite cold when you’re not in the sun, especially early in the morning, but today it feels colder still, so it’s back on with a jumper until the sun warms things up later on.

This is the annual NE cold air flow from big high pressure areas in China. It will be followed soon by pollution crap from areas to the east of here.

I normally complain about being cold until after breakfast, and my body starts to come alive.

If we take today as an example, it was lovely to walk around the lake and not be a ball of sweat afterwards. Additionally, forget aircon, which gets minimal use in our house anyway, we're not even using fans at the moment. Most definitely, my next electricity bill will be a pleasure to receive.

Dont be so sure, they've been hiked about 30%. Ours is now a summer bill in the winter so we're paying the same amount as we would running the a/c went we dont!

Windy reports that today will be the last day of the strong winds and it'll start heating up again as the week goes on.

The wind already seems to have died down to a comfortable breeze. I have school runs shortly after 7am and this morning I had the heater on in the car because the kids were shivering.

I do admit that I went out on the scooter early this morning and a light jacket would have been nice.

Mother of all storms in Bangkok from early this morning. The weather Gods hurling insults at each other, and pissing on the rest of them. Still overcast, but has stopped raining where I am.

They forecast rain for the Hua Hin/Cha Am area today, but so far nothing although it is overcast and windy so

Hua Hin(94 area) never got it

But Springfield golf got it Wednesday afternoon(with strong winds) and rain on Thursday morning too!

About 10km south of Cha Am up road 1001 storm and a good 1/2 hour heavy rain which started at 7.00 and probably blew some transformers as no power since.
I believe Hua Hin has a few power failure too this morning

A bit windy for 10 minutes, the skies darkened for 5 minutes and it barely drizzled for 2 minutes. Bor Fai, near Toyota.

What a disappointment. Thai weather from December to August is a non stop borefest. Where's the wind, the cloud formations, the rain, the daily changes that make life interesting.

Well 4 hours later and still no power
That storm must have been real strong to do such damage!!
