Regardless of how many buses, traffic lights or fire hydrants that I click on, it won't let me in.

Is there a simple was around it whilst retaining the use of Google?
Happens to me too but only when I'm connected with VPN. Maybe that's the case for you too?

Yep, its a VPN issue. I gave up on Google a while back and now use Duckduckgo - no captchas, no ads, no fake listings, no tracking.

When I click on a website or something within a website the computer doesn't respond and I have to keep clicking until it does or doesn't and I give up.
Any ideas of what the problem is and how to fix it?

Thank you.

Yes, I have about 10 old ones here. They seem to last about 6 months regardless of which brand.

Try buying a 'Logitech' mouse (not chinese) approx 600 baht.
That will last you years.

I don't have another mouse but I have a sanding block and cleaned the connection to this one and it works again.

I agree. I bought 2 Logitech M570 trackball mouse (mice? ) about 6 years ago and I haven't taken the second one out of the box yet.

I guess I've been lucky, I've been using a cheap Chinese mouse for 8 yrs. It's going wrong again, tomorrow I'll buy another mouse or maybe a rat.

Bought a Logitech M110 R with a tail, for 199 baht at Banana. Cheap Chinese mouse. It fits my hand and works smoother than the Genius Cheap Chinese mouse that ate the cheese and died in the trap.

Logitech is a Swiss company - but their hardware may be manufactured in China, just like Apple and the rest of them.

I'm using my son's Razer gaming mouse since his PC is kaput and it is a dream to use compared to the cheapo standard ones - the interfaces with the machine make a big difference if you're using it a lot!

turn off/leave on?

Post by LolaBeltran »

Quick question on a small issue . . .new 3BB internet router/wi fi just installed. fiber optic. Should I turn it off when finished for the day?

And the same question in relation to the desktop speaker system "NANO" ( central box, two speakers on extensions, power button in BACK of central box and really awkward to get at. Turn off or leave on?

I remember discussions long ago about turning off or leaving on a PC but I dont remember what the tech pros recommended.
