Perhaps those that have have allegedly suffered financial loss should be working together and seeking quality legal advice and redress though civil/criminal process. I am somewhat suprised that the authorities have not become involved if what you say is correct given the negative impact these type of matters have on investment and retirement of expats into the kingdom.Michaelnoot wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2017 12:41 am Story is developing everyday. The owners are (Mod edit: no names on this thread please you have already been warned) As it stands now two of them cheated the two others and ran off with the $$$ on kick back commissions. Yes, it is still defamation under Thai law - frustrating we know but it is the law of the land. Regardless of the truth slander laws prevail in Thailand, here is a recent example: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=34079Michaelnoot wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2017 12:41 am No slander, no one knows what is true at the moment except 60 families are left in limbo.
If you still want to continue down this route please provide the following for consideration:
Evidence - a court order or police report
The accusers (your) ID (passport copy)
The accusers (your) Address
We already have your IP address so you will be contacted if the case goes to court, not us. We do sympathise but as a public forum we have to follow the law, however absurd it may be.

Five years since the OP……. Anyone care to update……
Looks to me as if it has changed into La Lua Resort……
TripAdvisor reviews seem positive ……
loads of Instagram photos but always seems empty in the background……
Over the pandemic it appears there have only ever been a handful of properties either for sale or for rent….. must be a good sign
