Lovely it cools things down and washes all the crap away. Sadly it ends up in the sea.

I was oblivious to the rain last night, but checking the pool this morning, I would guess it was between 2-3 cms of rain so must have been fairly intense and Steve is right, it’s pleasantly cooler this morning.
Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand
Quite a lot of rainy weather all over the gulf this morning.

Absolute torrential downpour in Soi 106 right now. Heaviest of the season so far, I'd say.

High winds and torrential rain in Smorphrong.
HH weather radar seems to be down.

Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand
Well I would guess that I'm getting as much rain as everyone else for a change. My bubble has burst!
Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand
All seems to have died down now thankfully. Very heavy rain and strong winds earlier.

Steady and moderate here in Hin Lek Fai, after an absolute squall about two hours ago.
Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand
Although we get plenty of rain here, I rarely see a decent rainbow. The kid's came running in late this afternoon. "Come and look at the sky!"
Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand
We got one too. It was fading a bit by the time my wife called me out about 6.15. You might just be able to see a faint outer rainbow as well.
I do like the way yours separates a dark and a bright area of the sky. Very striking.

According to Weather and Climate website...
In July, HH should get 93mm of rain for the month.
According to Thai Met we've had 153mm already in first 17 days(+64% of monthly average).
We could end up with double the monthly average if this keeps up
Or, then again, we could have a dry spell now....

In which case it will still be +64% above normal July average - but the chances of no rain between now and the 31st are probably like Jeremy Clarkson’s new farm shop - diddly squat!!
