It says that a field hospital will be set up in the parking building and that floors 3 - 5 in the parking building will be for staff only and patients and visitors should park in the commercial college.

I think this confirms my suspicions about use of the car park top floor during Wave 1.

I'm informed that the figure for yesterday is 30 new cases in HH District making a total of 490

But I dont have access to the daily chart(above) so I look forward to seeing it

As said yesterday I was encouraged by the numbers not dramatically increasing despite increased testing

Let's hope it continues to decrease here. And that nationally it makes a U turn

The increase in Bangsaphan's figures came from workers in the local Tesco store.

Yes, I saw that, in the fresh produce section. Again, I guess they've cleansed, or will cleanse it, but how do they cleanse the stock? Is it destroyed, or is there a way of killing any Covid threat on fresh food?

Not wanting to lull anyone into a false sense of complacency or anything (pace @HHTel) but it is nevertheless still nice to see that the local figures are not increasing the way they were earlier.

We should of course, still remain vigilant.

I don’t have any official details but my wife knows of two separate cases within the past week, which I assume is just a small %age of the total. But places like Makro and Big C are still pretty low key on things

A friend life and work in Cha-am told me about 30 people infected in Cha-Am.

Percentage -wise Cha Am have far more BK residents with second homes than Hua Hin so I would not be at all surprised if their covid numbers were high. Last week the beach area was full I was told by a resident

Looking at the provincial numbers, I would guess Cha-am is fairing better than we are. Yesterday for e.g. PKK had 58 new cases and Petchaburi with only 20. Hua Hin alone had 30 more.

Additionally local provincial authorities are also given the mandate to impose disease control measures in their own provinces as they deem necessary, and that’s the authority of each particular province.
I guess I'm not the only one confused by having 2 different sets of directives. I've just been looking and some gyms have announced they will be re-opening in the Hua Hin area :?
