I transferred today from the UK, and received the 2 to 3 days wait message. I presumed it had something to do with the bank holiday, but that wouldn't explain yesterday.

It looks as though this month's money is coming via the scenic route again :banghead:

Time to be prepared for the run around. Lesson learned - avoid Bangkok Bank, Bluport :cuss:

In other words, Wise know they've cocked up, and are blaming the banks already.

Similar message here now. Interesting that yours says six hours and mine says three days. Also Bangkok Bank.

Funny how they know precisely what time the Thai bank will process the transfer. I thought 2:30 was a nice round number, but 2:07? :?

I've been checking my receipt. They've definitely cocked mine right up. Despite them knowing the money has to go direct to Kasikorn, they've put the money into Bangkok Bank again. Reading previous receipts I can see the pattern forming. I'm quite busy on a Tuesday, so know I'll be chasing my own tail on Wednesday to obtain my Credit Advice. I suppose it'll give me something useful to do. I now see all of the information is on the Wise receipt, so I'll try to by-pass Kasikorn this time, and go straight to Bangkok Bank.

Yes, mine arrived 45 minutes early. However, because Wise have cocked up again, I have to go on a Credit Advice hunt now :banghead:

I use TW to transfer money for my partner and stepson a couple of times a month and I´ve been trying to work out where the varied transfer times come from.
Transferring from Europe, their bank account is in Estonia and I send to Bangkok bank and if I transfer during a normal weekday and I do it around 08:30 CET when both banks are open, I can get almost immediate transfers, I got one through in two minutes last week.
If either of the banks are closed, the transfer goes through when they´re both open again and that is usually hours but if you throw in weekends or public holidays, I´ve had up to a three days wait. I never had longer than that but maybe other Thai banks are slower at releasing money.

No, I think if Wise cock-up and send it to the wrong bank, the wrong bank does treat sending it on to the correct bank as a priority.

I've been using them a lot for several years and I've never had that happen.

I'm trying to imagine how both banks being open would affect a transfer. In may case I had transferred money to Wise a month ago, but didn't do the transfer right away. So, they already had my money. I initiated the transfer from Wise to Bangkok Bank at an hour when Bangkok Bank would have been open. Still, it took four days.
