England-Belgium (Nations League 2020)
Well, a bizarre team selection by Southgate to start with. England losing 1-0 after 15 minutes, and it should be 3 or 4...

And the way we're playing, it will be 3 or 4.

Re: England-Belgium
Yet somehow it's 1-1 at half-time, thanks to some theatrics in the box by Henderson.
Honestly, 3 centre backs, plus Henderson and Rice side-by-side in midfield trying to outbore each other with sideways passing, Mount running round like a headless chicken...
Sheesh...
I think there's some synchronised swimming on the other channel.

And yet it's 1-1. Really hope Southgate doesn't decide to bring Kane on (not sure if he's on the bench) after reporting a slight muscle strain.
Too much of an irrelevant game to risk injury.
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.
Re: England-Belgium
Rice!!! What is he doing on the field?
At least Kane is doing as much as ever. Well done Southgate realising that he can sit him on the bench and have an 11th footballer on the field We can even score penalties without him.

Re: England-Belgium
Shame, I thought Kane not being fit to start would at least give us a welcome break from the BB obsession...

You mean when he comes on, he won't be able to do as much as he normally does

I'm intrigued, if he wasn't fit to start, how is he fit to finish? If I was Jose, I'd be really P'd if they put one of my players on the pitch carrying an injury.

Re: England-Belgium
Well after all of the excellent reports by Spurs fans, I watched Kane whenever he was in shot:
- Touched the ball 4 times - a player of his reputation should have at least tested the keeper with that header.
- Chased the ball once.
- Body checked an opponent once.
How's that for stats?
I'd did warn you. If I watch Harry Kane, he is usually non-existent. He didn't let me down today.

So Captain Harry bored the pants off you as well?
[Edit] There is no work rate comparison with the man he replaced, Calvert-Lewin. If he wasn't fit, why did he come on?

Never mind the fact that England beat the world no. 1 team, let's focus on the important thing, BB's obsession. I'm not sure whether it's a wind-up or simply ignorance, but I stopped caring a long time ago. Not playing any more.

Yes I’m surprised he didn’t feature in the starting line up, especially after his recent performance and being likened to Paul Gascoigne (not everybody’s cup of tea, but widely regarded as one of England’s most talented players).
