Is anyone receiving their U.S. Social Security payments through direct deposit? Went in today to open a Direct Deposit Account at Bangkok Bank as the Social Security forms instructed. After filling out the paperwork I was informed that with this type of account I could only access my money through my Hua Hin Branch and couldn't have an ATM card. Whereas with a server account I could have an ATM card and the usual services. They stated there was no problems receiving direct deposit with a server account.
If anyone is receiving their payments this way please let me know what type of account you have set up.
