The elephant in the room is the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. They don't open until July 24 so chances IMO are good that it will go ahead. If the world is still wrapped up in this virus by then the last thing on people's mind will be sports and the olympics, and it will make no difference if on or off. Stay tuned.......

I think we can assume that ALL events with spectators are OFF. We might list any events that are ON.

There have been quotes on the BBC that some experts are predicting that the virus/contamination will not reach it's peak (at least in the UK) for 10-12 weeks. That would take us a little closer to "the main event"!! Again, huge cost and logistical implications, but I can see it being postponed.

The last match to be played, Brumbies vs Waratahs, is going on right now. :( Suspension for at least 2 weeks.

Super Rugby organisers have decided to suspend the competition indefinitely after the weekend's games because New Zealand players returning home from matches overseas face being forced into self-isolation for two weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic.

I'm still dumbfounded in light of what is going on throughout the planet, but Thai football recomences friendlies in 2 days time. I'm not sure whether behind closed doors or not. I won't be going.

Concerning the Olympics again...if they remain stubborn and hold it, I doubt many people will attend. Perhaps mainly Japanese. By July the virus may still be raging, or at least scare people enough not to travel.

My gut tells me they will postpone it....?

Pretty much an end to everything sports-wise in the UK and Europe for the foreseeable future I think.... In addition to the above: -

"The 2020 Isle of Man TT has been cancelled amid concerns around the spread of coronavirus, the government has announced."
