Premier League 2019-2020
Re: Premier League 2019-2020
Lmao don't do that. AWB is RED! two signings, 2 contract extensions. We still need quality players in defence and mid field.
Also, Pogba will leave. He's handing over transfer request today. He wants to play for Zidane.

Re: Premier League 2019-2020
How can anybody, let alone an injury prone 30 year old be worthy of even half the reported salary?
Tottenham are willing to pay Real Madrid £54m for former forward Gareth Bale, 30, but Spurs have told the Spanish giants they would not be able to afford the Wales international's reported £600,000-a-week wages.

Bale seems to be quite happy to spend the rest of his career warming the Real Madrid bench on £600k per week.

Arsenal men's team have signed U.S star Megan Rapinoe on a year long contract.

Newcastle fans must be fuming. From Rafa Benitez to Steve Bruce! Getting thumped 4-0 by Wolves won't have helped either.

Trippier off to Atletico Madrid. Seems a steal at 20 million. He didn't have the best season last year but was one of the best players at the World Cup. Sad to see him go. He served us well.

I think we have found a new weapon. At least it seemed to be useful in our match vs BM. Auba let out a spud.

Re: Premier League 2019-2020
Wasn’t sure where to put this, but as he was an ex-Premier League player,
Gareth Bale is set to leave Real Madrid to join Chinese club Jiangsu Suning on a three-year deal.
Sources close to Wales' record goalscorer confirmed reports in Spain that although not yet finalised, a move is "very close."
Real boss Zinedine Zidane had said Bale, 30, was "very close to leaving" after he was left out of their 3-1 pre-season defeat by Bayern Munich.
Zidane added his exit would be "best for everyone".
The move to China would reportedly see Bale earn £1 million a week.
How can any football player be worth such a ridiculous amount of money - the world has gone mad!!

Absolutely - It truly is mind-blowing To me it borders on criminal incompetence by the club (but can't blame Bale for taking that payday!!). I also wonder how much Bale's agent's commission/fees will be.Dannie Boy wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2019 8:10 am The move to China would reportedly see Bale earn £1 million a week.

Mauricio Pochettino: Tottenham boss 'not in charge' of transfers
Mauricio Pochettino says he is "not in charge" of transfers at Tottenham and believes his job title should be changed from manager to coach.
The Argentine made the comments after Spurs' 1-0 Audi Cup win over Real Madrid in Munich on Tuesday.
Earlier this month, Spurs broke their transfer record to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele - the club's second signing since January 2018.
"I know nothing about the situation of my players," said Pochettino.

Oh dear! Sounds a bit like "Feck this, I'm off ASAP"

Re: Premier League 2019-2020
I'd say it's unusual for a manager/head coach, whatever title you use, to have control over transfers these days, certainly at big clubs. Klopf, Zidane, Emery, Solskjaer, etc. - they're all in the same boat; they say what they want, then the owner/chairman, board, etc. do the negotiating and make the final decision. Pochettino said much the same several months ago, and I suspect he's just nudging Daniel Levy.

To any other club it's 50 mil.
Manchester United FINALLY agree £85m deal with Leicester for Harry Maguire as he becomes the most-expensive defender of all-time - eclipsing Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk fee - after weeks of talks

Not surprising to see the scouse scum booing the national anthem today. To be fair, they probably booed it because they didn't know the words. Inbreds.
