PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN SET UP IN THAILAND FOR THE FIRST TIME!

This summer, Paris Saint-Germain will inaugurate their first Academy in Thailand, in partnership with the company Asia Football Development. This ambitious project will be rolled out on several sites and aims to recruit more than a thousand Thai players aged 5 to 16 in its first season.

From July, young Thai footballers will be able to take part in summer camps organised in the cities of Bangkok, Phuket, Hua Hin and Koh Samui.
In September 2019, a permanent Paris Saint-Germain Academy will be set up, offering year-round training sessions in these four cities and on a fifth site in Pattaya.

The children will benefit from top-of-the-range facilities, as well as the expertise of Technical Director Sebastien Roques, who is in charge of managing the overall project.

With a wealth of experience managing professional teams and Academies worldwide, Sébastien Roques has been specially trained by Paris Saint-Germain to pass on the club’s values and footballing philosophy to young Thai players.
He will be assisted by other Parisian coaches, who are all qualified to impart the club’s top-quality training methods.

Fabien Allègre, Director of Marketing and Brand Diversification at Paris Saint-Germain, announced: “Paris Saint-Germain have great ambitions for Asia, and they are making them a reality by opening offices dedicated to the club’s development in Singapore. Opening a Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Thailand is a continuation of this international development. Thanks to our top-quality local partners and our coaches’ outstanding training, our young Thai supporters will benefit from the best training conditions and innovative educational guidance.”
