And its no good arguing about these things with Thai people---Tell them, prove to them that what they believe is nonsense and they will reply that your arguments/proof may apply to farangs but not to Thai people.

Sigh. I know. Met a secondary school science teacher who was worried about a water mains leak. Told her the water level in the klong was flooded and the house level was low so water was coming up out the drain, she was adamant that water only went down drains..
